Now that I have my client site, what do I do next?
Fill in your information in your pages.
Log in to your admin, click on PAGES on the left hand side and then choose your page to edit.
QUESTION: Will the client site be password protected with a custom login box?
ANSWER: Yes, you should have a plugin installed called “Members Only”. You will just need to activate it under “Settings”.

If you have the TK Combo/kimtown Client Site after 8-30-11, you can administer your top navigation simply by editing the wordpress pages (standard way) and your footer links are managed by MENUS under APPEARANCE.
QUESTION: The existing pages that are “pre-created” don’t go anywhere–they all go to “this webpage not found.” What should I do?
ANSWER: Simply login to your admin, click on SETTINGS on the left side, then click PERMALINKS. Simply SAVE SETTINGS. This will update your permalink structure and get your links working again.
QUESTION: Does each client have their own unique password?
ANSWER: You can either have one username and password for ALL clients or ones for EACH client. You can manage this under USERS on the left side of your admin.
QUESTION: I accidentally deleted my slidedeck on one of my pages, how do I get it back?
ANSWER:The slidedeck is still there; you’ll just need to add the code back in.
When you are on that page, look over to the right and there should be a box that says “Insert Slidedeck”
Click that and once the box pops up select the sd to put in.
Update/Save the page after that and you should see the SD back again
QUESTION: How do I link up a PDF for customers to download?
ANSWER: To create a pdf link, simply click on the link above the writing post for adding an image, upload the pdf here just as if it were an image.
Once the pdf is loaded and in that same window, look on the “Link Url” area and make sure you click “FILE URL” so it creates a link to the file itself.
In the Title Text box, type the info for the link (like “click here for the pdf download” etc)
Click “Insert into post” then Update/Save
