Apple sued by iCloud Communications over iCloud trademark
Well that didn’t take long. In a suit filed yesterday in the US Disctrict Court in Arizona, a company named iCloud Communications, LLC has claimed trademark infringements against Apple over the use of the name iCloud. While I’m no legal expert, it does appear that Apple has some explaining to do. Specifically, iCloud Communications is claiming that Apple’s heavy promotion of the iCloud product is damaging to its business and has all but removed the branding of the name from itself and placed it onto Apple. To make matters somewhat... Read The Rest →

Laptop Died – NVIDIA Failure
Alrighty…So amidst of all the chaos in kimtown, I went to turn on my MACBOOK PRO after putting it to sleep the other night, and lo and behold, the light was on but no one was home. MAC MONDAY – Apple iPod Shuffle with VoiceOver
I just got my 11 year old an iPod Shuffle. That was the original, but this really takes the cake. Now he’s buggin for one of these (or maybe I am…) This is my pick for Mac Monday! This allowed us to make the new iPod shuffle dramatically smaller, but not just for dramatically smaller’s sake. It’s also easier to use,... Read The Rest →
