Here’s a super quick and easy way to wrap text right up against any object. This works great for all kinds of applications; flyers, postcards, social media ads and so much more! This awesome tip is only 5 steps and only takes a few minutes!
Step 1:
Open your chosen image in Photoshop.
Step 2:
Select the Lasso Tool (L) and draw a rough selection on the area that you want your text to be written.
Step 3:
Go to Window > Paths and click on the “Make Work Path From Selection” icon.
Step 4:
Select the Horizontal Type Tool (T) and click anywhere inside the path area.
Step 5:
Using any font, size, and color, type your text as you would normally do into the space! Get creative and use different fonts and combinations if you wish! Everything inside the working path is for your font.
Step 6:
If you want to make any changes or adjustments to the text area, select the Direct Selection Tool (A) and then simply arrange the different anchor points of your path to however you’d like.
