This spring I worked on an amazing project with an equally amazing woman. I was commissioned to design a logo, a website, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Page, Reddit and Pinterest for Project Gratitude Letters; a website dedicated to sharing letters of gratitude and SO much more. I encourage you to visit and read the letters that have already been shared.
MEET CHRISTINE and see how her ABOUT page works. It’s split into two tabs on the main page to get double the information in without looking, or feeling, cluttered. Her color palette was from
The home page contains a wonderful letter to Christine’s readers along with some beautiful imagery and a quote from the dearly departed, Steve Jobs. The bottom area contains a plethora of information for her visitors including quick links to various parts of her site, social media and RSS feeds. There’s also a “to the top” arrow for a quick shoot back up to the top for easy access of the navigation menu.
As you further navigate through the web site, you’ll see several of her pages are still growing as she fills those pages with information at a later time. But that’s okay, as we are all still growing, right?! She’s got a subscribe page where you can subscribe to her newsletter to keep up with any updated information she’s sending out. She also has a two part contact page with gratitude submissions and a regular contact page.
Christine also has the MACHFORM database installed on her site which manages all of her forms on her site. It’s on its own database so it can be managed fully and records can be kept for many purposes. She’s fully cookie compliant along with many other requirements for her site including a secure and valid certificate!
